I have long been noting the issue of excessive funding of wallets, each costing the treasury over $1M yearly (and counting), with some teams receiving well above this amount including marketing budgets. And this case with an over $1.5M yearly budget, compensated solely by the treasury, is only adding to the problem. I have also advocated the necessity of a more sustainable funding model for the wallets since DV Cohort I, and I am not sure whether wallet teams are considering alternative funding methods and their sustainability with enough tenacity.
